An administrative law judge says the Barona Band of Mission Indians should be allowed to serve liquor at its casino.
Opponents blamed the Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino for a rise in drunken-driving accidents and violent crime. But the judge says there was proof that the sale of alcohol at the casino contributed to the accidents. The tribe has been serving at the casino under a temporary license.
