The Pauma Band of Mission Indians held a second public meeting about its casino plans on Wednesday.
The tribe operates a temporary casino on its reservation. Plans call for a new $300 million facility with up to 2,500 slot machines, 50 table games and 10 poker tables, plus a hotel. Residents are concerned about traffic to and from the casino. They are seeking improvements to the highway that leads to the reservation.
