Wednesday, August 1, 2007
The Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe of Washington is planning to replace The Point casino with a bigger facility.
The casino, originally known as The Point No Point Casino, started off as a bingo hall. Since 2002, it has undergone three upgrades.
But the tribe has already outgrown the 17,000 square-foot space. Chairman Ron Charles said the new facility could be double the size.
The casino saw about $45 million in revenues in 2006, up from about $32 million in 2003 .
