The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan could have its newest casino up and running by the end of the year.
The tribe plans to build a 32,000-square-foot casino on 350 acres in Saganing. The facility will house more than 700 slot machines and 40 electronic table games -- much smaller than the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt. Pleasant. Saganing was part of a large Saginaw Chippewa community. Now it's a mostly rural area, with high unemployment rates. Get the Story:
