The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians has been sued for breach of contract by its former gaming partner.
The tribe was working with Sharp Image Gaming Inc. to open a casino in the late 1990s. The tribe has since partnered with Lakes Entertainment Inc to build a 85,000-square-foot casino. But Sharp claims the tribe owes $14 million in advances, plus a share of future gaming revenues.
