A critic of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe's proposed casino in Ohio is being pressured to resign from a city post.
Paul Bagocius sits on the Canal Fulton Historical Preservation Commission, a volunteer board. But his outspoken criticism of the tribe's casino has the mayor and one city council member seeking his ouster.
Mayor John Grogan said he will call for a vote on Bagocius. He says Bagocius is using his board post to give credibility to his anti-casino views.
The tribe, based in Oklahoma, has filed a land claim in Ohio and says it will settle for gaming rights.
