No one ever accused Dr. David Yeagley of being in touch with Indian Country. An Indian
national bank? Uhh, hello, 20 tribes and Alaska Native corporations already created one! California and Oklahoma Indians have been running banks for years. And let's not forget Elouise Cobell who got everything rolling back in the day.
But we digress. The real reason for this post is Yeagley's latest email to us. Here it is for everyone to read. Enjoy!

Gentlemen,
I have come to distrust your intents at this point, having attempted to
respond to your lampooning and the comments of other posters. I have
repeatedly been blocked.
This is so unprofessional you cannot expect to maintain any sort of
legitimate status except as a Indian news digest. You already have that
status. But to lampoon me (which is fine, and to which I have no
objection) is one thing; but to block me from defending myself from some of
your less that sincere, less than intelligent, mean-spirited, mentally
handicapped or emotionally disturbed posters, is really juvenile, and
brings your whole operation down to the level of your forums.
I've been patient with your lampooning. You haven't printed falsehood, but
you have distorted some things, presenting them out of context, which could
easily be misinterpreted by those who are unaware of the full picture.
This will be my last attempt at communicating with your editorial
function. Whoever receives this, please make sure that is it read by the
appropriate people. I really regret that there is such a disfunction on
the Hoop, where you allow others to post about me, but do not allow me to
speak in my own behalf.
Sincerely,
Dr. David Yeagley
"This will be my last attempt at communicating with your editorial
function." Promise?
And to think, just two days ago, Bad Eagle's followers were fanning themselves over the latest link.
