Prairie Island elder turns 100

A ceremony was held Wednesday on the Prairie Island Dakota Reservation in Minnesota to celebrate 100 years of life for Hazel Wells.

Wells is the tribe's oldest resident. She and her husband were active in pursuing land rights for the tribe in the 1950s.
