Federal recognition and casino critic Jeff Benedict says he won't drop out of the running for Connecticut's 2nd Congressional District.

Benedict is seeking the Democratic nod. But according to The Norwich Bulletin, he doesn't have enough delegates to stay in the running.

The paper reports that Joe Courtney is the lead candidate. The incumbent is Rep. Rob Simmons, a Republican.
