MONDAY, APRIL 8, 2002

The Arizona Legislature will hold a hearing on three bills affecting gaming in the state.

One bill implements compacts Gov. Jane Hull signed with 17 tribes, including revenue sharing with the state. Another version of the bill strips the sharing provision.

The third bill allows racetracks to operate video lottery terminals. Racetracks are opposing the tribal bill.
