The Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma is working to make its casino operation compliant with federal law.

The tribe voluntarily closed its casino in response to a request by the National Indian Gaming Commission. The commission cited failure to submit an annual audit, minimum internal standards and lack of security clearances.
