Alaska Native sentenced to life

TUESDAY, APRIL 30, 2002 An Alaska Native man with a history of mental illness was sentenced to life in prison on Monday for attempted murder. Jason Pritchard was found guilty but mentally ill of two counts related to the stabbings of children at an Anchorage elementary school last May. He will have no chance of parole. Get the Story:
