Border conference attracts tribes

Tribes whose lands straddle the U.S. border with Mexico or Canada are attending a conference held by the U.S. Border Patrol in Washington, D.C., today.

The conference is aimed at helping tribes increase border security. Some 17 tribes are expecting to attend the gathering, considered the first of its kind.
