$3.4B deal with Cree finalized

The Grand Council of the Cree First Nation in Quebec finalized a $3.4 billion deal with the the province on Thursday.

The deal allows hydro projects to go forward in exchange for the Cree dropping $3.6 billion in lawsuits. The Cree will have more say over logging as a result.
