Okla. tribe removes tires

About 130,000 old tires have been removed from the golf course owned by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation of Oklahoma.

The tires were placed there when the tribe and the state paid nearly $400,000 to put the tires on the golf course to control erosion. The tribe paid $14e,000 and the state paid $250,000.

To remove them, the tribe spent $41,000 and the state paid $267,000.
