Students can now get up close and personal with the caribou herd at the center of the debate over drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Thanks to the Journey North website, students can track the Porcupine caribou herd as it migrates to the refuge where the Bush administration believes oil will be found. A satellite keeps track of collared caribou, who have names like Cupid, Lupine, Lynetta and Isabella, as they make their 800-mile journey.
