The McQueen School in Kivalina, Alaska, is reopening today with a new security officer and five new teachers.

The school was closed February 27 over threats reported by teachers and staff, most of whom have left the village. A team of educators and a state trooper have been discussing ways to improve the school but a regional school official says years of problems can't be fixed in just two weeks.
