SEPTEMBER 29, 2000 This is the story of how you and seven people are picked to live on a reservation and how you get along while managing a highly successful casino. Your goals: Negotiate a new gaming compact with the state. Don't get busted by the National Indian Gaming Commission. Avoid falling into the depths of tribal politics. Keep the tribal council happy or they'll fire you. Your reward: A huge per cap. Welcome to the First Indianz.Com contest! No, actually, we're joking. We're not trying to re-enact Survivor or The Real World. Well, not yet, anyway. But yes, Indianz.Com is indeed holding its very first contest! Luckily, viewers won't have to leave their homes, office, school, or local library to participate. So leave the suitcases at home, because its your mind and wit in which we are interested! In case you didn't notice, we have what we call a "tagline" at the top of each page. On Monday through Friday, it changes to reflect whatever mood we're in at the time. Sometimes its funny, sometimes its pensive, sometimes even we don't know what it means. Today, its "get free stuff" because well, you can get free stuff. Now, you too, can participate in the madness. Beginning Monday, October 2 you can submit your ideas for what should appear in the tagline. There are a couple of requirements, of course. One, you have to be a member, so signup today. Two, the tagline has to be five words or less. Other than that, that's about it! We encourage creativity, humor, and fun in your taglines. But keep it clean, folks. So what will you get as your reward? Well, its free and that's all that matters. Seriously, your prize will be something that can be found on the AllNative.Com site. So browse on over and start dreaming of what you might do with any one of the hundreds of products available, because you might be getting one soon! We promise that it will be something you can use over and over again. And your friends will ask you where you got it. Men and women alike will appreciate it, as will the young and the old. So start thinking of some ideas for the tagline and come back on Monday, October 2! The contest will run till the end of the month and we will start displaying the winning taglines October 9. Good luck!
