Program to examine digital divide

As tribal affairs coordinator for the American Distance Education Consortium, Randy Ross will be involved in technology, economic, and education research for tribal colleges and reservations.

The Consortium is based on the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. The National Science Foundation has funded a three-year program at the Consortium to study the digital divide with $4 million.

Former director of the Lincoln Indian Center, Ross began his new job on Monday.
