Letter: No justice for Natives
FRIDAY, MARCH 29, 2002

"I wonder whether anyone else has noticed the discrepancies between the case of the Sisseton-Wahpeton teen being held in the Grant County Jail for allegedly assaulting police officers and the incident that occurred Nov. 1 in Miller? There, two teen boys shot at a group of Native American girls after a basketball game? So what is the difference between these teens?

The girl is Native American and is currently incarcerated; the white boys from Miller are still free. "
