MONDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2001 "This last snowfall, especially in southwest Minnesota, certainly said winter is here for the duration. That weather sometimes brings out a bit of competition among us, too. The issue is usually who has the best or worst weather. You know what I mean: I call my friends when we are missed or dusted by snow and they get dumped on, and they call me when we are covered and they're missed. It's one of those, "Oh, by the way, just how much snow did you get yesterday?" questions, knowing full -well they received maybe 29 inches, and it's still snowing, while we got only 3 or 4 inches. . ."
