WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2001 Services for Lakota man and his wife who died in an accident in Minnesota are set in Minneapolis this week. Joseph Foote, a drum group singer, and his wife, Mary, were killed when the car they were riding in was in a collision with another vehicle. Their driver, an Ojibwe woman named Candance Caldwell, was also killed, as was the drive of the other car. Joseph had been diagnosed with HIV, the virus that usually leads to AIDS. His wife was the first state volunteer for an AIDS vaccine study. Get the Story:
