Mont. skinheads all found guilty

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2001 A federal jury in Montana took six hours on Friday to find six members of a skinhead group guilty of conspiring to violate the civil rights of racial and religious minorities. All but one was also found guilty of violating civil rights for participating in an attack on minorities in a Montana park in July 2000. Each crime carries a maximum of 10 years in jail and a $250,000 fine. Ex-members and associates of the Montana Front Working Class Skinheads testified the group targeted Native Americans and other minorities. Members were rewarded for beating Natives and others, they said. Sentencing is scheduled for February 8. Get the Story:
