For six years, the radio program Native America Calling has been dishing out a wide range of topics of interest to the Native community.

But according to host Harlan McKosato, three programs in particular strike a chord among listeners from Anchorage to Zuni Pueblo. Blood quantum, alcoholism and non-Natives practicing Native religion.

The show is broadcast five days a week from Studio 49 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is owned by Koahnic Broadcasting Corporation, a subsidiary of an Alaska Native corporation.
