In an editorial published yesterday, The Tulsa World says American Indian beneficiaries are owed more than just an apology for the goverment's mishandling of the Individual Indian Money (IIM) trust.

The paper says the account holders should be compensated monetarily for historical mismanagement. "The $10 billion is owed to the Indians and it will be a national disgrace if they don't get it," says the paper.
