TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2001 Thomas Victor Siporin died of cancer at his California home on Thursday. He was 59. Siporin suffered from polio as a child, which resulted in left arm severely undeveloped. He later became an attorney, working for the American Indian Movement at Wounded Knee. Get the Story:
