MONDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2001 Bruce Flax: "I am a current employee at Foxwoods and took great offense to the publishing of Jeff Benedict's one-sided Nov. 4 commentary, “Mashantuckets shouldn't get one more acre.” Everyone is entitled to his opinion, but Mr. Benedict spends too much energy trying to persuade others to join him." Eric Berk: "As the owner/operator of a small painting company located in New London, I agree with Jeff Benedict's Nov. 4 commentary in The Day in which he talked about decertification of the Mashantucket Pequots and levying the same taxes on Foxwoods Casino that are levied on any other business in Connecticut."
