THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2001 The Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center is presenting a play that documents some of the Thanksgiving traditions of Eastern tribes. The play is based on a book by Joseph Bruchac, an Abenaki author. His sister, Marge Bruchac, an Abenaki scholar, adapted the play and also stars. The play includes songs, stories and histories of Eastern tribes, who encounted the Pilgrims and welcomed them to the Americas. Get the Story:
