Seminoles seek alligator wrestlers

SEPTEMBER 8, 2000 Chief Jim Billie lost a finger for it, but the Seminole Tribe of Florida is hoping that prosepective gator wrestlers will want to apply for positions they are offering at $12 an hour. The tribe has taken out ads in the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, seeking applicants. The tribe says it has a shortage of wrestlers among its own members because so many are now in other fields, including banking and e-commerce. Get the Story:
