Pueblo center to celebrate 25 years

TUESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2001 The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, will celebrate its 25th anniversary next weekend. The center, which opened in 1976, was the idea of a group of the All Indian Pueblo Council, whose members saw the need for educating the public about Pueblo culture. Owned by the state's 19 Pueblos, it is located on land that was part of the old Albuquerque Indian School. Get the Story:
