AUGUST 18, 2000 Readers of the Omaha World Herald's web site are still talking about a rave recently held on Omaha tribal land near the tribe's casino in Iowa. Bureau of Indian Affairs police are still sifting through all the drugs voluntarily given up by attendees of the rave. Methamphetamine, marijuana, Ecstasy, crack cocaine, and speed were some of the drugs confiscated by police. The event was approved by the tribal council. It is thought some of them didn't know exactly what a rave was, perhaps just a concert. Get the Story:
