AUGUST 18, 2000 Kevin Gover, Assistant Secretary of Interior - Indian Affairs, has won the award for "Indian Newsmaker of the Year," an honor beswtowed upon the Pawnee tribal member by the Oklahoma Indian Times. Several other awards were also presented to Oklahoma Indian businesses. The awards were made at the Minority Enterprise Development dinner at the Gilcrease Museum and sponsored by the by the Oklahoma Native American Business Development Center in Tulsa. Get the Story:
