AUGUST 16, 2000 The Crow Fair began as a government plan earlier this century to encourage the Crow Tribe of Montana to become better farmers but has evolved into a celebration of culture, history, and tradition. Rick Graetz writes about the history of the Crow Fair for The Billings Gazette today. The fair begins this week on the banks of the Little Bighorn River. The fair's events include an all-Indian rodeo and a powwow. Get the Story:
