Wes Studi detained in nuclear protest

Cherokee actor Wes Studi was detained for taking part in a nuclear protest at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, the birthplace of the atomic bomb.

The protest was held August 9, the 55th anniversary of the bombing of Nagasaki, Japan. About 300 attended and Studi was one of 60 briefly detained.

The 60 were removed from lab grounds.
