THURSDAY, JULY 26, 2001 The Oklahoma State Legislature has decided not to fund the American Indian Exposition this year, citing questions of accountability and leadership. Dspite the setback, the group plans to move foward with this year's event, which will take place August 6-11. The expo is in its 70th year. Treasurer Ida Lura Asah Jones believes the decision to cut the funds is racially motivated. Get the Story:
