THURSDAY, JULY 12, 2001 Every Thursday, a group of about 20 young Indians gather to perform traditional Anishinaabe dances as part of the Anishinaabe Cultural Center's youth outreach program. The program is aimed at passing down Anishinaabe, or Ojibwe, traditions while keeping youth away from gangs, drugs and alcohol. The center is located in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. It will be celebrating its first year annivesary this September. Get the Story:
