Kay Bursheim has been chosen as the new director of Lincoln Indian Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Bursheim's background is in education, having spent 30 years teaching students at all ages. She also has experience directing various Indian programs.

Bursheim is Dakota and Santee Sioux. She grew up on the Sisseton-Wahpeton Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
