JUNE 2, 2000 The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation will have two representatives at the Republican Party National Convention in Philadelphia. Tribal member John J. Guevremont and lobbyist Laurance Gay were chosen as delegates by the state's Republican party. According to the Federal Elections Commission, tribal members and tribal employees donated at least $14,750 to Senator John McCain in his bid to become the Republican Presidential candidate.
