MAY 8, 2000 In a letter sent over the past weekend, Kenny Reels, chairman of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation addressed members of the tribe regarding the recent controversy surrounding the recently published book, Without Reservation. Jeff Benedict, author of the book, and Nicholas H. Mullane II, North Stonington town official, commented on Reels' statements, calling it unresponsive and too late.
