Tuba City residents expressed concern over the weekend about the intentions of the two suspects arrested in Thursday's explosion at Tuba City High School. The two 18-year-old students, Rager G. Hudson and Stewart R. Tracy Jr, did not intend any harm and it was out of character for the two, said some. The explosion injured to six at the high school.

Although a Navajo Nation tribal court has charged the two with aggravated battery, dangerous use of explosives, conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a minor, they will most likely be prosecuted in federal court as well. They are currently in federal custody in Phoenix.

FBI officials have called the incident a prank.
