APRIL 26, 2000 The Pine Ridge officer who ran over a 17-year old is on paid leave while state and federal officials investigate the April 14th incident. Derek Marrow Bone of Wounded Knee was lying down on Highway 27 when the officer's vehicle ran over him. He died at the scene. Get the Story:
