Elian's family in Cuba reaches out toNative Americans

Native American communities know children are a valuable natural resource and, more importantly, have experienced the breakup of the family unit by government policies. At meetings in Havana, held at the request of the family of Elian Gonzales' family, a Native American delegation offered support for family members in Cuba.
