"Like many modern fiction classics, such as the U.S. Constitution, “Green Eggs and Ham” has its origins in traditional Native American culture and lore. In fact, Seuss’ story is actually a bald-faced rip-off of an ancient Indian legend called 'Frybread and Spam.'"
