Neb. county changes 'squaw' creek

FEBRUARY 28, 2001 Otoe County commissioners on Tuesday voted to change the name of "Squaw Creek" to "Wyoming Creek." Governor Mike Johanns asked all counties to rename any "squaw" place names last year. A total of 14 locations are being considered. Get the Story:
