EDITORIAL: Tribal casinos

In an editorial today, Lance Johnson, the managing editor of The New London Day, says the state faces a "mounting crisis" from tribes seeking federal recognition because wealthy gaming interests are financing their efforts to seek acknowledgment in hopes of opening a casino.

Johnson wonders how many casinos the state can handle without turning into another New Jersey.
