DECEMBER 13, 2000

The Arizona Attorney General's Office on Tuesday released a report documenting the use of racial slurs against Hispanic, Jewish, Native American and African-American employees of the city of Tempe

The report also suggest non-compliance with federal and state laws affecting access for disabled employees. It also says the city hasn't recruited enough women for the Public Works Department.

The report comes after complaints were made to the state almost a year ago.
