OCTOBER 31, 2000 Richard Butler, the leader of Aryan Nations, filed for bankruptcy on Monday. Butler and the Aryan Nations lost a $6.3 million judgement to a part-Native family, of which Butler owes $5.8 million. But Butler says his assets are just $300,000. The filing will delay the handing of his property over to the Keenan family. Get the Story:
