Teen: Beating minorities encouraged

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2001 Joining a skinhead group that beat Native Americans and other minorities made one member feel less like a "loner," the 19-year-old said in federal court on Monday. Jeremiah Johnson joined the Montana Front Working Class Skinheads when he was 17. He was encouraged to act out against minorities and received praise when he did so, he testified. Johnson and another former member of the group pleaded guilty to taking part of the "Park Patrol." The two are testifying against six other skinheads who beat three minorities at a park in Montana in July 2000. Get the Story:
