Former skinhead questioned on attacks

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2001 A former skinhead who said he and others targeted Native Americans and other minorities has denied being the leader of the attacks. On the stand in federal court on Thursday, Thomas Edelman's credibility was questioned by attorneys for a group of members of the Montana Front Working Class Skinheads. Edelman made a plea agreement with the prosecution and agreed to testify about the attacks, admitting he beat up a Native American to gain favor in the group. Six skinheads are charged with violating the civil rights of racial and religious minorities. Get the Story:
