Tribal treasurer faces removal

FRIDAY, APRIL 12, 2002 The Otoe-Missouria Tribe has asked treasurer Linda Francis to respond to allegations of misuse of funds. Francis is on paid leave while tribal officials try to remove her from office. Her attorney said the tribe wasn't following its constitution. Francis has 10 days to respond to questions posed to her.
